I started my social work in the field of women empowerment nearly 30 years back . The world was unaware about social changes and still accepted women as a machinery to do all household chores and with out any rights . Slow and silent suffering was the rule of the day . Access to education was still not to many women and husbands and family totally overpowered the female . Life was a tough road and social involvement of women was looked down .

We women started our journey on this path and mostly socially active women were condemned and labelled .

Lot has changed and lots will change . Today women are accepted in all the arenas of public life and respected for what they do .

The struggle has been long and journey turbulent but each and every moment has strengthened us with full vigor . Today we stand on the stage because of the struggle of so many women who preceded us and gave us the courage to stand on our vision and dreams .
