Resilience
To come out of difficult situations one requires adequate knowledge of the situation before hand and the requisite expertise required to handle it .We all forget that life is a battle field and every new experience is a lesson to be learnt . We are so unprepared to go into the field that a slightest blow cows us down.Imagine a soldier going to a war front unprepared and not with adequate expertise and training . He is bound to falter. Same happens with us . Over the course of time which we have wasted , we have failed to learn and prepare ourselves for the difficult situations in life . During the growing up years , when we had all the time to acquire skill we have wasted either because of bad company or lethargy or over preparedness . Hence when we face life problems we lack enough knowledge to tackle it to our advantage.
In our Indian Sanskrit the first phase of life for 25 years was called as brahmacharya and it was devoted to acquiring knowledge as per ones duty and responsibilities in life . A future king had to be trained in requisite skills , a brahman, vaisya , shudras all according to the work they did . This gave them a long training period to prepare them for handling the difficult situations in life .
Nowadays many a times in the guise of good education the parents and schools do not prepare students to tough situations arising later on in life . This leads to failures , frustrations and running away from situations.Had the mental frame of children in their youth so strongly built and right life lessons imbued in them in the form of character building – then they would be capable of handing all life situations .
Even the deepest of waters would not deter them to swim and highest of peaks would not cause shiver in their spine. Their own personal traits would sail them through the difficulty in life.
