Nothing is the best .During my conversation with people I realised that because of their preconceived notion they justify their ideas , life , viewpoint , career options as being the best . With this overconfidence they try to downsize the spirit and decision making capacity of the other person . This has to go for no career however great it is is above society , family and self .

Gone are the days when education was self motivating and self fulfilling and its basic purpose was enhancement of knowledge , skill and capacity in an individual . Now the education is so well linked with career that a child from primary classes is taught both by parents and teachers to study for a particular job . Even tuition industry is so well marketed that there are centre of excellence for a particular job . We all are in a mad rush not knowing where to go . The fact stands that even those who are in supposedly best placed careers are not aware why are they doing a particular job . They all are following a crowd – a mad rush to be achievers , to be marketable , to be at the top .

The list of achievements for them is endless but the irony is that these self professed people are the most dissatisfied with their career , their life is not content or happy . The loneliness exist for they pursued a vague vision and hence gained a hypothetical arrogance to justify their success .

Now many would ask how I define the best . Best is not the achievement but best is the enjoyable journey we take to achieve the dreams we cherish . If we have lonely memories of our journey then definitely our achievements are worth no mention . The best answer to our success is defined by our conscious and soul . It should not feel proud but it should dance with the ecstasy of having accomplished for what we had set out to be . The hardwork and its purposeful ness should go hand in hand to make our cherished dreams a reality – then only we have set out to be in the best of profession .

I have seen doctors mint money but contribution to society negligible , teachers with a business witth no knowledge worth the name , civil servants dedication to society at its low , engineers not knowling how to make bridges in human life what to speak of rivers .

Hence how could we call such a career best where compassion , empathy , commitment , are badly lacking and life is led for self .

Such a model is not to be well followed by any for we have failed to deliver our best .

Our contribution to society , family and self was zero at a testing scale defining the career we started as BEST .
