Gratitude
Most of the time we are anxious for the want of more insatiable desires . They never seem to end . The wanting is so extreme that it becomes disgusting and we cease to be happy with ourselves .I have seen and met youth who have everything under the son . Born to affluent parents and silver spoon in there mouth but the wanting of more and more of material desires never let them at being in peace .The simple solution to it is the feeling of thankful and gratitude .I have realized in my course of human relations that we learn to take things for granted and assume too much from a relationship . We fail to see our part in contributing to making that relationship a success but leave the precursor on someone else .
This same mind set operates in our reaction to god . We want more and more and the list is unending. We fail to see that we are blessed with a healthy body and mine . We take nature’s gift for granted and from here begins our seed od dissent and self loathing .
We see the material success of our counterparts and it gives us complexes . We do not stop to realize that world is far more cruel for many . This feeling has come in us for we have stopped to share our gifts to the needy and poor . Only the habit of sharing and caring for the poor and needy brings in us the spirit of satisfaction and thankful to the cosmic energy for being with us .
In this world we do not require much . Too many clothes , too many asset is just a plain number and nothing more . Happiness is achieved with little also . The time should come when we define our priorities well . The priorities define our personality and which in turn lead us to satisfaction .
Thus from very early in our lives we should learn to be in the habit of helping, giving and sharing . The day the feeling of gratitude enters our personality that very day we are at peace with ourselves . We learn to be frugal in our living and hence no competition arises in our mind to acquire material possessions. Thus gratitude leads to mental equilibrium and satisfaction with what we have.
