Work is Workship
This is a very old dictum and we all grew up hearing about it . It is less of a philosophy and more of the way of life – to place it mathematically the theorem on which our life is based .To steer clear of the concept we have to first under what worship is . Worship is in common parlance prayer and here again skipping the religious and spiritual context attached to it lets delve on what prayer is.During the process of prayer we withdrew inwards and go in deep thought . We try to synchronize our energy to the superior energy level present around and this connection gives us strength and confidence to move ahead with vigor and dedication.Same stands true for work if it is converted to worship . It becomes sacred . The spirituality attached to it takes away the lust and material aspects from it . Hence when we work then the whole hearten dedication should stand in our work .
We should withdraw inwards and with all our energies channelized towards our work we should execute it . Hence we will realize that we will enjoy our work , be focused and withdrawn from the world move steadfastly towards its completion.
What work we are doing is not important but how well and focused we are in life matters .
When we treat our work as worship then we stop bothering about the results for the journey and the holistic completion of it appears far more important .
We face less distractions from outer world and all our energy is channelized to make it a success .When for worship we bow in-front of the Almighty for guidance and support , the same stands here . We bow in-front of the superior being which i use as superior energy level for guidance and support . The whole Universe or Cosmos connives to make our dreams and desires a success .
Thus work should not be taken as burden but as a prayer , a commitment to self and society and slowly but steadily the path to execution and success will become clear .We would have realized the little god or the “brahma” content in us .
“Aham Brahmasmi” -or i am the god “- i am all powerful who is capable of making changes in the world .
